CIT Consists of The Following Modules

  •  Using Computer and Managing Files (Windows): Introduces candidates to operational functions of Microsoft Windows and its related applications such as managing files and folders, using Windows’ applications and operating printers.
  •   Word Processing Using Microsoft Word: teaches candidates how to create, save, format, and print-out documents such as letters, memos, and simple reports and using features such as figures and tables.
  •   Spreadsheets Using Microsoft Excel: teaches candidates basic skills essential to creating and managing tables effectively and efficiently, taking into consideration displaying data clearly and concisely.
  •   Information & Communication Using Internet Explorer and Microsoft Outlook: teaches candidates how to locate relevant information on the internet and ways of using Microsoft Outlook.
  •   Introduction to IT: Introduces candidates to the basic commands regarding the use of a PC and its peripherals as well as the networking.
  •   Presentations Using Microsoft PowerPoint: equips candidates with the skills needed to create, edit, format, and present data displays, and teaches candidates how to combine texts, format pictures and tables, use special effects, and create simple slides using templates and related tools.
  •   Databases Using Microsoft Access: provides candidates with the skills essential to managing databases successfully. Candidates learn how to create, edit, and format simple databases including creating tables, queries, forms, and reports.

 CIT consists of two levels:

  •   Basic Certificate.
  •  

Advanced Certificate.

The candidate will get the basic certificate when passes any four modules. The candidate can continue the three remaining modules to get the CIT advanced certificate.
